Nursery Tales
DIANA ROSS
Illustrated by Nancy Innes
Faber 1944
A collection of stories most of which have been broadcast in the Under Seven's Schools' Programme. They are written for telling and are designed for any adaption, in words, plot, or detail, which the grown-up thinks suitable to the listener of the moment. In this way they serve a wide range of ages. Most of them can easily be used as the basis of group games. They are written by an ex-teacher with a knowledge of what is needed in Nursery Schools and should b extremely useful to anyone in charge of children, whether one or two in a family, or twenty and thirty in a Day Nursery or School.
